Privacy Policy

The short version
Your raw footage never leaves your device — editing happens locally in your browser. Accounts are optional. If you choose to sign in and save a finished film, only that finished film and your email are stored, and only you can access them.
What we collect and why (data labels)
- Your video files — NOT collected. They are read locally by your browser and are never uploaded to us.
- Sampled still frames — processed, not stored. To let the AI direct your edit, small compressed snapshots (~25-30 images per project, roughly 30 KB each) and short text descriptions of them are sent through our proxy to NVIDIA's AI API for analysis. We do not store them; they are processed to produce the edit plan and returned. NVIDIA's handling is governed by NVIDIA's privacy policy.
- Revision messages — processed, not stored. Text you type to request changes is sent to the AI to revise the edit, then discarded.
- Your account email — only if you sign in. Accounts are optional. If you choose to sign in, we store your email address to identify your account. Sign-in is passwordless (a one-time email link/code); we never ask for or store a password. Auth is handled by Supabase (Supabase privacy policy).
- Finished films you save — only if you save them. When you press "Save to my account," that one finished video is uploaded to private per-user storage (Supabase) that only you can access. Your raw source footage is still never uploaded. You can delete any saved film at any time, which removes it from storage.
- Basic web logs. Our host (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses and request metadata to serve the site, prevent abuse, and rate-limit — standard for any website.
- Cookies / storage. No analytics, ads, or tracking pixels. We use local browser storage to keep your on-device footage vault and, if you sign in, to keep your login session.
What we never do
- We do not sell or share personal information (California "sale/share" definitions included).
- We do not build profiles or use your content to train models.
- We do not store your raw footage or sampled frames on any server. We store a finished film only when you explicitly save it, and only you can access it.
California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents may have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale/sharing of personal information. If you have an account, the only personal data we hold is your email and the films you chose to save — you can delete saved films yourself in the app, and you can email us to delete your account entirely. We do not sell or share personal information. We will respond to requests as required by law.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Security
The strongest protection is architectural: your raw footage stays on your machine. Our AI proxy holds the API key server-side, accepts only same-origin requests, and rate-limits by IP. Accounts are passwordless (no password to leak). Saved films live in private, per-user storage protected by row-level security, so one account can never read another's films.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
